PADUA
Although famous as the city of St.Anthony and for its university, which is one of the oldest in Europe, Padua is often seen as a convenient place to stay while visiting Venice. In fact the city offers a rich collection of art treasures, and its many piazzas and porticoed streets are a stress-free pleasure to explore.
