CINQUE TERRE
Lying northwest of the Gulf of La Spezia, the Cinque Terre (Five Lands) is, even today, an isolated region with no good access road. This rugged coast is wild but hospitable, with its vineyards and fishing villages where the people remain strongly attached to their old customs and traditions. This part of the Liguria region has several resorts which have managed to remain unspoiled. |
